ShadowSwap: MEV-protected DEX
A decentralised exchange prototype whose order amounts are encrypted on-chain with Zama's fully homomorphic encryption, so MEV bots cannot front-run or sandwich trades.
- Category: Web3
- Role: Full Stack Developer
- Status: prototype
- Built with: Solidity, Zama fhEVM, React, Next.js, TypeScript
ShadowSwap explores an order book where the amount of every order is encrypted with Zama's fhEVM before it is submitted. The order is visible on-chain, but its size is not, which removes the information front-running and sandwich bots depend on. Solidity 0.8.24 contracts hold the encrypted book and a React frontend places and matches orders; a Next.js showcase explains the design.
What it does
- Order amounts encrypted on-chain with FHE
- Front-running and sandwich protection by design
- Solidity contracts with a React trading UI
